Angelic Treasures Christian Daycare

Angelic Treasures Christian Daycare

Angelic Treasures focuses on the development of children. Activities are planned on a daily basis to help improve motor development, cognitive skills and overall learning. Specific activities are designed to help each child progress through age appropriate milestones.

We also create specialized programming for children with special needs and work one on one with a variety of services to ensure that each child is developing at his or her optimal level. ATCD is a home away from home. We continue the routines you set at home and maintain consistency in your schedules.

This program is child-led and child-centric. We believe that children are capable of making decisions and we respect each individual child’s decisions. We establish a safe, healthy environment for children to thrive and learn. We are passionate about providing all the love and care that your little one would need. Contact us for a tour.

As Franchisors, we integrate Christian beliefs and values in all our communication with others. Our business dealings are completed with the highest standards of integrity, kindness, and of course, with Christ’s love.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide part-time care?

Yes. We do for Toddlers, Preschool and School Age (some locations). Our rates for part-time are on a per-day basis and are slightly higher than the full-time fee.

Are your staff qualified?

Yes. All of our extraordinary staff is either certified with a Diploma, Degree or some combination of both. Our staff has their vulnerable sector screening checks done as well as a current Infant/Child CPR and First-Aid certificate.

Do you accept subsidy?

Yes, in some locations, where the region will permit. Sadly, the locations in the City of Toronto are not permitted to offer subsidy because they only make it available at non-profit centres. When they allow us to, we will gladly provide it.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes. Siblings in the family receive 10% off the older child.

Do you provide Montessori learning?

Montessori activities are one component of our educational program but it comprises only 25% of the total focus. We develop children in a holistically academic environment using the ELECT document which is guided by the Ministry’s “How Does Learning Happen” document. Additionally, we implement learning theories from Froebel, Piaget and Vygotsky.

What are your rates?

Please contact the location closest to you as fees differ by geographic location.

Do you cook on-site or cater?

The food is hot, fresh and nutritious for our little angels. The menu is based on the Canada Food Guide and has been created by a nutritionist. It is also approved and recommended by a dietitian. Our chefs have their food handling certificates and amazing palates!

How do I transition my child to your centre?

The transition takes place over one week. Day 1, you visit for one hour with your child and remain with them. Day 2 is two hours then Day 3, you leave the child for two hours on their own. Day 4 is half day from 9 am to noon and then on Day 5, you leave the child from 9 am to 3 pm so that we can see how they do during nap/rest-time.

Do you accommodate children with special needs?

We accept children of all abilities and accommodate all learning needs. We believe in complete inclusion and integration. Please contact us with your child’s special needs and we will work with you to make it happen. We also collaborate with regional health teams (OTs, Physio, Doctors, etc.) and we do everything we can to give our special angels the best in service!

Do you welcome college students for placement?

Yes we do. We believe that nurturing the growth of professionals in our community is an integral part of who we are. Allowing Early Childhood Education students to attend their placements in our centres has two main advantages: firstly, we are helping create a new generation of caregivers and second, their mere presences constantly challenges our extraordinary staff to rise to the challenge of mentoring and demonstrating best in class teaching practices.

How do your centres differ from the rest?

We offer enrichment programs for children of all ages including French and music. Our programs are inclusive, targeted and holistic. We foster all areas of development including social, emotional, physical and mental.
